Betsson Sweden II, First international win for Baharak Soleymani and Maria Rasmussen

The CUPRA FIP Tour was back this weekend with the FIP Bronze Betsson Sweden II. In Gothenburg, wins came for the pairs Pepe Aliaga/Diego Dorta and Baharak Soleymani/Maria Rasmussen, who earned 40 points for the FIP ranking.

In the men’s draw, the two Spanish players won the final against the Portuguese pair Jesus-Graca with a score of 6-4 7-6.

In the women’s draw, Baharak Soleymani and Maria Rasmussen won the final against Catarina Santos (winner of the FIP Bronze in Curitiba and the FIP Silver in Metepec) and Patri Ribeiro (winner of the FIP Silver in Rio Grande in February), with a score of 7-6 6-2.

“I didn’t think this year’s Easter egg would have a FIP title inside. It was so nice and fun to celebrate Easter like this. Thanks to everyone who watched, cheered, and sent kind messages,” said Baharak Soleymani after the win.
