Manila, Bergeron and Blanquè win again after Hong Kong. first victory for Sara Pujals

Johan Bergeron and Bastien Blanquè keep winning and achieve an important double victory: after their win in the FIP Bronze Hong Kong, the pair also triumphed in the FIP Bronze Manila, beating the Spanish players Albert Trillas and Josep Aymerich in the final with a score of 6-2 7-6. This double win boosts the two Frenchmen in the FIP ranking and shows the great 2025 they are having, being born in 1993 and 1995, respectively. These are the first two international titles for Blanquè, while Bergeron had won two tournaments in 2019 as well, but with Jeremy Scatena.

“We made a great double win on the Asian tour. After the victory in Hong Kong, we are happy to have won in Manila too. Bastien was incredible again, I’m really satisfied with these two weeks, we won some great matches, and now we’re preparing for the next tournaments with a lot of enthusiasm“, said Johan Bergeron after the final win.

In the women’s draw, the victory went to the number two seeded pair, Sara Pujals and Karin Hechenberger, who defeated the Spanish players Carla Fernandez and Nerea Guerra 7-5 6-2 in the final. This is the first international win for Sara Pujals, while Karin Hechenberger had also won the FIP Promotion Dubai in 2024.
