Sweden I Bon Padel. The Cupra FIP Tour returns to Gothenburg: Axelsson and Vasquez aim for success at home

The CUPRA FIP Tour is about to have its first event in Sweden in 2025, in Gothenburg. The tournament will have two draws, one for men and one for women. Among the men, the home team formed by Adam Axelsson and Simon Vasquez stands out, making their debut on the international circuit. All eyes will also be on the Italian pair of Simone Iacovino and Lorenzo Di Giovanni, ranked 154th and 127th in the FIP ranking, who recently reached the semifinals at the FIP Bronze Qatar.
In the women’s draw, the number one seed is the Spanish pair of Aitana Garcia (finalist in early 2025 at the FIP Bronze Torchio Padelshot) and Dutch Marcella Koek (finalist in January at the FIP Silver Melbourne Game4Padel Open). Also in the spotlight are Ana Dominguez (ranked 79th) and Carla Touly (ranked 84th), finalists at the FIP Star Beau Plan in November 2024.
The tournament will offer 40 points for the FIP ranking.
