Many top 100 protagonists in the new appointment of the CUPRA FIP Tour in Spain

The CUPRA FIP Tour 2025 is in full swing. This weekend, the FIP Silver Valencia (Spain) will take place, the second annual event in the Comunitat Valenciana after the FIP Bronze La Cala held in January. Like last year, there will be two draws, one for men and one for women. Among the men, the number 1 seeds will be two top 100 players in the FIP ranking: the Spanish Nacho Vilariño, number 60, and Salva Oria, number 43. On the other side of the main draw, we have the Spanish Josete Rico and the Argentine Agustin Gutierrez, ranked 54 and 50 in the FIP ranking, respectively.

For the women, the number 1 seeds are the winners of last year’s FIP Platinum Sardegna: Carolina Orsi (28) and Nuria Rodriguez (25). As the number 2 seeds, we find the Spaniards Jimena Velasco (40) and Noa Canovas (39), who recently reached the quarterfinals of the Riyadh P1. The tournament will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd and will offer 80 points for the FIP ranking.
