Double date in Rio Grande Brazil and Ahlen Young padel talents arrive in Germany for the first time

New year, new successes. The 2025 FIP Promises circuit started off great with tournaments in Valencia (Spain) and Doha (Qatar), and now it is getting ready for two more big events in Brazil and Germany. These are the FIP Promises Rio Grande (from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th) and FIP Promises Ahlen (from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th), where for the first time, young padel talents will compete in Germany, showing the constant growth of the circuit dedicated to future stars in 2025.

In the Rio Grande tournament, where FIP Bronze and FIP Silver will also be held at the same time, the Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 male and female categories will compete. The top-seeded pairs are Eduardo Casagrande and Murillo Alves in the male Under 14, Rafaela Lins and Letizia Lopes in the female Under 14, and Thiago Gasparin and Ulisses Neto in the male Under 16. In the female draw, we have Julia Giusti Gomes (a 2009 talent and the youngest participant in the FIP World Padel Championships held in Doha last year) and Ana Acunha. In the male Under 18, the top names are Arthur Bernal and Felipe Baracal, while in the female draw, we have Esperanza Lamatta and Laura Maas.

The same categories will also be present in Ahlen, with belgian pairs Verraghen-Verhoestraete and Degeling-Gauer leading the male Under 14 and Under 16 draws. In the Under 18, Hazebroek and Panken stand out. In the female draws, the names to note are Anna Wuters and Julie Luneman in the Under 14, the twins Anshika and Rishita Rajagopal in the Under 16, and Sarah De Vleeschouwer and Loan Basile in the Under 18. It will be a weekend full of matches and talent both in Rio Grande and Ahlen at the new FIP Promises events.
