Day 2. Victories for UAE, Iran and Lebanon

The day 2 of the FIP Juniors Asian Padel Championships concluded in Bahrain. In Group A, a debut victory for the United Arab Emirates who, after observing a rest day on the day 1, beat Japan (2-1), who had yesterday beaten host Bahrain. In Group B, on the other hand, came the second win in a row for Lebanon, who, after losing the first match in the tie against Kuwait in the Under-14 category, bounced back with the Under-16s and Under-18s, winning the direct clash between the two teams that had won the first tie. Iran, after being defeated by Lebanon, got its first win thanks to a 3-0 victory over Saudi Arabia, beaten by Kuwait on the first day.

Tomorrow will close the group stage, with the FIP Juniors Asian Padel Championships deciding the names of the four teams qualified for Friday’s semifinals.
