Castellon La Plana The trophy goes to Peco/Sanchez Perez Masferrer/Roglan clinch their first victory in the men’s draw

At the FIP Promotion Castellon La Plana in Spain, Ana Cristina Sanchez Perez secured her fourth consecutive Promotion title – following triumphs in Houten III, La Nucia, and Almeria. Teaming up with Kaori Peco, the duo defeated Eugenia Guimet and Valeria Atencia in the final with a scoreline of 6-0, 3-6, 6-2. For Kaori Peco, a 2008 class player, this marks her second consecutive FIP Promotion tournament win.

In the men’s draw, the title surprisingly went to Jan Masferrer and Albert Roglan, who claimed their first-ever victory on the CUPRA FIP Tour. The pair defeated Van Beek/Hernando in the final with a commanding 6-2, 6-4 victory.

Attention now shifts to the next stage of the tour: the FIP Rise in Abu Dhabi, scheduled to take place from December 3 to December 8.
