Kaunas, Moragues and Sintes Triumph in Lithuania

It’s a first-time victory for the Spanish duo Nacho Moragues and Marc Sintes. The pair claimed their first career title at the FIP Star tournament in Kaunas, Lithuania. They earned sixty-two FIP points with a two-set win (7-6 6-4) over their rivals Romera and Dorta, the tournament’s seventh seeds. Moragues and Sintes, born in 2005 and 2006 respectively, showed their potential to go all the way from the very first round of the main draw, defeating the second-seeded Swedish duo, Simon Vasquez and Adam Axelsson.

For Nacho Moragues, from Valencia, this FIP Star title marks his first career tournament win, as it does for Marc Sintes, who was previously a finalist in the FIP Promotion tournaments in Villena JC Ferrero and Alicante. There’s no time for celebration, as Moragues and Sintes will be heading directly to the FIP Rise event in Oeiras, set to take place this week.
