Kaunas, Camila Fassio and Lopez claim the trophy in Lithuania

At the FIP Rise tournament in Kaunas, the Spanish duo Camila Fassio and Amanda Lopez emerged victorious, defeating their compatriots Lopez Fuertes and Morinigo Gomez in a three-set final (4-6 6-3 6-2). Lopez Fuertes and Morinigo Gomez had previously eliminated the tournament’s top-seeded teams, ranked number 1 and 3. This victory brings 31 FIP points to Fassio and Lopez. For the young Fassio, born in 2007, this marks her second FIP Rise win of the season, following her success in Cairo. For Amanda Lopez, currently ranked 94th, it is her first victory of 2024, underscoring an important confirmation of her competitive level.
