FIP Promotion India, another wonderful first time for the CUPRA FIP Tour
November 21, 2024The CUPRA FIP Tour continues to expand around the world. This week it’s the turn of Delhi, home of FIP Promotion India, with Bennett University set to host a men’s draw of 24 pairs and a women’s draw of eight. Among the men, Indian Davis Cup national team player Digvijay Pratap Singh will be on court, paired with Spanish Miguel Vega Martin. The number 1 seed in the men’s draw are Sergi Guimet and Joel Olivera, followed on the entry list by French Arthur Hugounenq and Thomas Seux.
The number 1 seed in the women’s draw are Spanish Ainize Santamaria Landa and Aitana Solan Domenech. There is great excitement in Delhi for the start of the main draw matches; on Friday the round of 16, on Saturday the quarters and semifinals, on Sunday the final. Padel is also entering a new era in India.
