Stratford, Medina Murphy makes Great Britain happy

The happiness of winning a tournament at home. Christian Medina Murphy won his second title of the season on the CUPRA FIP Tour in the FIP Rise in Stratford (Great Britain) after the one in Rise Cairo (Egypt). Paired with Alberto Garcia, Medina (seeded number 6) beat Manuel Aragon and Roberto Belmont in the final with a score of 6-3 6-4.
“We played five very tough matches, raising our level more and more – Garcia’s words –. Even so, we know what to improve on to be a better pair”. In the women’s draw, however, the title went to number 1 seed Agueda Perez and Patri Martinez: the Spaniards, who won the tournament without losing a set, dominated the final (6-0 6-0) against Nati Lopez Diaz and Lucia Garcia.
