Metepec, first title for “NextGen” Arredondo And now the debut at the World Championships

The first win in the CUPRA FIP Tour comes at the perfect moment for Diego Arredondo,  young Mexican player (born in 2007) who won the title on Sunday at the FIP Rise Metepec, his hometown, and who will compete with the national team at the FIP World Padel Championships in Doha starting October 28th. It’s a golden period for the 17-year-old, one of the best prospects of the NextGen in padel promoted by the International Padel Federation. Together with Argentine Agustin “El Loco” Torre, Arredondo won 6-1 7-6 against the Argentine duo of Renzo and Ivo Nuñez, the tournament’s surprise team. In the women’s tournament, the top seeds Camilla Ramme Coellar and Ana Maria Cabrejas Ruiz claimed victory with a 6-4 6-2 win over Natalia Blanco and Emma Karen Reyes Baca.
