Jeddah, 40 pairs on court in Saudi Arabia

One of the three FIP Rise tournaments scheduled for the ‘week of records’ is being played in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which will also host an FIP Promises tournament. Two draws are planned, one for men with 27 pairs and one for women with 13, for a total of 40 pairs on court.

Among the men, the number 1 seed will be Spanish Miguel Gonzalez, number 100 in the FIP ranking, and French Thomas Leygue (105); on the other side, as number 2, Portuguese Gustavo Nunes and Spainish Raul Marcos. The top five seeded pairs will enter the court directly in the round of 16. Among the women, Carla Serrano – number 123 in the FIP ranking – and Aitana Garcia Roman (95) lead the entry list, with Italian Marianela Montesi and Portuguese Margarida Fernandes seeded number 2.
