Houten, Dutch play at home with a view to Doha

Italians Simone Iacovino and Michele Bruno lead the draw in the FIP Promotion in Houten, Netherlands. But behind the ‘Azzurri’, there are some home players who are ready to live a great weekend. The number 2 seeded players are in fact Thijs Roper and British Samuel Jones; the number 3 in the seeding instead are both ‘Oranje’, Sten Richters and Bram Meijer, who in a few days (like Bruno with Italy) will play the FIP World Padel Championships in Doha.

The same goes for Steffie Weterings, who with British Tia Louisa Norton leads the women’s nine-pair draw; but the number 2 seed in the FIP Promotion of Houten, Maaike Betz and Janine Hemmes, will also be in Qatar.
