Dubai, Icardo and Jurado preparing for the FIP World Padel Championships

A few days before the start of the FIP World Padel Championships in Doha (Qatar), the FIP Promotion in Dubai is a test for Sergio Icardo and Francisco Jurado, both part of the national teams of the UAE. Icardo and Jurado are the number 1 seed in a 31-pair draw, with the number 2 seed being Spaniards Javier Rodriguez Marquez and Roberto Rodriguez Alonso. Jabor Al-Mutawa (also called up for the FIP World Padel Championships with Qatar) and compatriot Rayan Abdulla complete the seeded podium.

In the women’s draw, on the other hand, the Hungarian Dora Andrejszki (world number 277) and the Swiss Karin Hechenberger (227) lead the entry list: they will take the court already in the quarter-finals as the pairs number 2 (Carolina Gallo/Melina Bois) and 3 (Silvia Lopez Vidal/Claudia Manzanares).
