Delfi Brea, who won four titles in 2024 with Bea Gonzalez, will try to win her fifth in Egypt. MEN In the men’s draw, the run of top seeds continues. Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas (1), after 6-2 6-1 to Gonzalo Rubio and Pablo Lijo, will face Lucas Campagnolo and Javi Leal (6-3 6-4 to Moyano/Cruz Belluati), with Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz (2) still hoping to repeat their Bordeaux title after 6-2 4-6 6-4 to Diestro/Ruiz. For the second time in two matches, Momo Gonzalez and Edu Alonso (3) were forced into the third set before beating, in this case, Zapata/Barahona: in the quarters are Alex Ruiz and Alex Arroyo (5), long-time teammates respectively of Gonzalez and Alonso, who emerged victorious in the round of 16 against Goenaga/Ayats.
