After a day full of emotions, the FIP Juniors European Padel Championships have determined the top 4 teams that will compete on Friday and Saturday for the final stages of the tournament. In Budapest (Hungary), the boys’ quarterfinals saw France triumph over Italy, securing a 3-0 victory in the tie to advance to the semifinals. The Bleus started strong with Sacha Huard de la Marre and Nathan Perrot, who won in three sets in the Under 14 round. Olivier Guy de Chamisso and Jérémy Robert took the Under 16 match in straight sets, as did Timéo Fonteny and Yoan Boronad in the Under 18. France now faces another crucial challenge against Sweden, who reached the semifinals after a decisive 3-0 win over the Netherlands. Spain matched that scoreline against Estonia, conceding only four games. In Friday’s semifinals (both scheduled for 2 PM), the Iberians will meet Belgium, who secured a 2-1 victory in another thrilling tie against Portugal. Belgium started strong with Under 14 players Tibo Vandenabeele and Rune Keppens, then saw the Portuguese level in the Under 16 match, before closing with a win from Huysveld Isaac and Thibo Matthyssens in the Under 18.
