Mexico vs. Argentina, it’s double final

Mexico and Argentina will face off in both finals at the X FIP Juniors Panamerican Padel Championships. The hosts and the “Albiceleste” have reached the final stage of the tournament in Aguascalientes, dedicated to young padel talents, and are gearing up for a Saturday full of exciting sports action.

 

GIRLS In the semifinals of the girls’ tournament, it was a thrilling clash between Argentina – the dominant force in the group stage – and Brazil. The match ended 2-1 in favor of the Argentine finalists, who, for the first time in the tournament, lost one of the matches in the tie. As usual, Argentina started strong with their Under 14 team (final score 6-2, 6-1), but Brazil came back with a win in the Under 16 category (6-1, 6-3). Argentina then secured the decisive victory with their Under 18 team (6-2, 6-3). Meanwhile, Mexico delivered a flawless 3-0 performance against Chile, who nonetheless had a great tournament. The final between Argentina and Mexico is set for Saturday at 3 PM (local time), preceded by the third-place match between Brazil and Chile.

 

BOYS In the boys’ semifinals, Argentina also achieved a clean 3-0 victory over Brazil, in the match that concluded Day 4 in Aguascalientes. Mexico posted the same result, overcoming Chile in front of their enthusiastic home crowd. After the tie, the celebration erupted on the court alongside the girls’ team, as they await the highly anticipated final on Saturday. The boys’ final against Argentina is scheduled for no earlier than 6 PM local time, while the third-place match between Brazil and Chile will start at 3 PM.
