Ciudad de Ceuta, Guerrero and Bautista the pair to beat

The CUPRA FIP Tour returns this weekend with three tournaments not to be missed. In Ceuta (Spain), a FIP Rise is being played with a 32-pair men’s draw and a 23-pair women’s draw. Among the men, the pair to beat is Fran Guerrero, number 40 in the FIP ranking, and Jairo Bautista, number 33: together, a few weeks ago, they won the title in the FIP Rise in Cordoba and are aiming for another trophy. The number 2 seed are Joaquin Marcos and Jaime Fermosell.

Among the women, on the other hand, Italy’s Marianela Montesi and Spain’s Carla Fitó Fernandez will lead the entry list, followed by Nati Lopez Diaz (winner of five CUPRA FIP Tour titles in 2024) and Lucia Garcia Trella, who has already won with Diaz in Mol, Koksijde and Cordenons. After the end of the qualifiers, the main draw matches will begin from Friday, with the finals scheduled for Sunday.
