Ajman, first career title for Prins and De Kroon

You never forget your first time. Dutchmen Julian Prins and Youp De Kroon lifted the trophy in the FIP Promotion in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Starting outside the eight seeded players, Prins and De Kroon won the derby in the final against compatriots Sten Richters and Bran Meijer with a score of 2-6 7-6 6-2.

“It was an unreal feeling for us to win our first professional title – the winners said –. A big thank you to our team, family, friends and those who support us”. A success, that of Prins and De Kroon, which allows the two players to make a big step forward in the FIP ranking: Prins gains 41 positions and is now number 264, De Kroon on the other hand rises to number 242, a jump of 39 positions.
