FIP Promotion Curitiba, Abbud de Barros and Cirme, what a battle in the final!

The FIP Promotion final in Curitiba was a hard-fought final. It was won 7-5 4-6 7-5 by Alessandra Abbud de Barros and Cristina Cirne, the number two seed in the Brazilian draw, over Fernanda Abarzua and Gabriela Menna Barreto. For Abbud de Barros, now number 190 in the FIP ranking, this is the second title of the season on the CUPRA FIP Tour after the one in Camboriú; first title, on the other hand, for Cirne, who climbs 607 places in the ranking, to number 274.
