FIP Promotion Valencia, Rodriguez and Santigosa make the double

Second victory in a row in the CUPRA FIP Tour for Alonso Rodriguez and Daniel Santigosa who, after winning in Koksijde (Belgium), also took the title in the FIP Promotion in Valencia. In the final, Rodriguez (now number 95) and Santigosa (101) beat the pair formed by Adrian Marques and Mario Huete Hernandez 6-1 6-2. A clean sweep, that of the number 2 seed, who lifted the trophy without losing a set.

In the women’s draw, however, the title went to number 7 seed Teresa Moriñigo and Elena De La Rosa, thanks to a 3-6 6-2 6-2 victory in the final over Carla Serrano and Aitana Garcia Roman (3). “We managed to win the title after five difficult matches, fighting on every ball and believing until the end – the two winners said –. Thanks to those who always support us”.
