FIP Promotion Valencia, Rodriguez and Santigosa look for another title

Not even a week after triumphing in the FIP Rise in Koksijde (Belgium), Alonso Rodriguez and Daniel Santigosa try to win again. The two Spaniards are the number 2 seed in the FIP Promotion scheduled for the weekend in Valencia (Spain), with two 32-pair draws. Among the men, the entry list is led by Aitor Garcia and Miguel Angel Solbes, who are back in Europe after reaching the final in the FIP Gold in Saltillo (Mexico) and are respectively number 90 and 62 in the FIP ranking.

If Rodriguez, with the title in Koksijde, has risen to number 97, Santigosa (102) is one step away from the top 100. In the women’s draw, the number 1 seed will be Ares Llobera and Maite Cano, number 108 in the FIP ranking. Number 2 Lucia Micaela Fernandez and Candela Lucendo. First round is scheduled on Friday, round of 16 and quarterfinals on Saturday, semifinals and finals on Sunday.
