FIP Rise Tenerife, Emiliano Iriart is the top 100 on court

The Club Las Arenas Padel in Tenerife (Spain) will host a stage of the CUPRA FIP Tour: a FIP Rise is being played this weekend with 46 pairs on court, 32 in the men’s and 14 in the women’s draw. The player with the highest FIP ranking at the start among the men is Italian-Argentinian Emiliano Iriart (number 91), who will play in a pair with Spaniard Marcos Cordoba (101). The number 2 seed are Argentines Maxi Sanchez Blasco and Federico Chiostri, who in the P1 in Mar del Plata played a great tournament that led them to reach the round of 16.

Also from Argentina are the number 3 seed Santi Rolla and Pablo Hernan Barrera. In the women’s draw, Portugal’s Mafalda Marques Fernandes (134) and Spain’s Valeria Atencia Basilio (123) lead, with Spain’s Maria Portillo Perez and Kaori Peco number 2 in the seeding.
