FIP Promotion Zétrud-Lumay, Geens-Azzola the pair to beat

The CUPRA FIP Tour doesn’t stop. From today until Sunday, the FIP Promotion in Zétrud-Lumay, Belgium, will be played, with a men’s draw of 32 pairs and a women’s draw of 10. Leading the men’s entry list are hosts Clement Geens (number 113 in the FIP ranking and three times this season in the main draw of Premier Padel tournaments) and François Azzola (322), followed by Dutchmen Sten Richters and Bram Meijer, both number 194.

The number 3 seed Sergi Guimet Bigas and Josep Aymerich Bellmunt are Spanish. In the women’s draw, on the other hand, the Belgian Elyne Boeykens and the Dutch Rosalie Van der Hoek head the draw, with two other Dutchwomen – Liza Groenveld and Bo Luttikhuis – number 2 seeded. Today the firstround matches, Friday the round of 16 and quarters, Saturday the semi-finals and finals.
