FIP Promises Ciudad de Badajoz, six titles up for grabs and 60 pairs at the starting list
June 7, 2024
Golf Guadjana de Badajoz, Spain, is the setting this weekend for another leg of the FIP Promises circuit. Six main draws are planned – Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18, both boys and girls – with a total of 60 pairs at the startinglines. Five nations will be represented in the Extremadura community: Spain, partly for geographical reasons, will take the lion’s share, but there will also be players from Portugal, Sweden, Argentina and the Netherlands.
Two Dutch players are seeded No. 1 in the men’s Under 18 (Thomas Panken and Jorrit Hazebroek), while these are the other pairs leading the entry list: Mauro Hoyas Sardon/César Del Cacho Cidoncha (Men’s Under 14), Ebbe Badersten/Miguel Munoz Zurita (Men’s Under 16), Paula Carmona Gomez/Covadonga Sanchez-Arevalo Montes (Women’s Under 14), Elena Ferreira Hernandez/Ahysa Carrera Martinez (Women’s Under 16), Paloma Diaz Carvajal/Lucia Calatrava Ladero (Women’s Under 18). The latter two categories will be played under the Round robin format.
