FIP Rise Delta Padel, Alvarez and Valenzuela chase their third title of the season

An important scenario, in a country where padel is on the rise and increasingly popular. From Friday to Sunday, the FIP Rise Delta Padel in Camboriú, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, is staged, with 32 pairs competing in the main draw. It is the same venue that hosts the FIP Promotion Camboriú and the FIP Promises Camboriú this weekend.

In this men’s tournament, the number 1 seeded pair in the main draw will be Spaniard Pol Hernandez Alvarez and Argentinean Ramiro Jesus Valenzuela, who have already won the FIP Promotion Alicante and FIP Rise Dubai this season together, as well as reaching the final in FIP Rise Buenos Aires II. Thanks to their result in Argentina, ‘Rama’ Valenzuel and Pol Hernandez Alvarez earned a wild card for the Premier Padel P1 in Mar del Plata, scheduled for 20-26 May. Two Brazilians – Joao Pedro Flores and Stefano Palma Flores – will be the number 2 seeded pair: together they triumphed at last year’s FIP Star Nomos Curitiba and FIP Rise Rio Branco. The number 3 seed is another Brazilian pair, formed by Matheus De Avila Simonato and Lucas Cunha.
