FIP Rise Cairo, padel under the Pyramids: Sinicropi-Di Giovanni and Perez-Garcia no.1 seeded

The CUPRA FIP Tour makes a stop in Egypt this weekend: Il Bosco Padel Club hosts the FIP Rise Cairo, with a men’s draw of 32 pairs and a women’s one of 24. Among the men, leading the entry list are Italians Riccardo Sinicropi (number 130 in the FIP ranking) and Lorenzo Di Giovanni (124), followed by Spanish Cayetano Rocafort and Alejandro Carnero. Qatari Mohammed Saadon and another Spaniard, Javier Navarro Perez, complete the seeded podium.

Among the women, on the other hand, the number 1 seed in the Egyptian tournament are Alba Perez (104) and Lucia Garcia (97); on the other side of the table, France’s Elodie Invernon and Wendy Barsotti. On Thursday evening the first round matches; on Friday the round of 16 and quarters, on Saturday the semi-finals and finals.
