FIP Rise Bapadel Barcelona, Perino aims for second title in a row

After the Sevilla Premier Padel P2 show, this weekend Spain also hosts a stop on the CUPRA FIP Tour, the FIP Rise Bapadel Barcelona. Two draws are scheduled, both with 32 pairs. In the men’s one, the number 1 seed is Italian Denis Perino, number 44 in the FIP ranking and coming from his title in the FIP Rise Burriana, and Spanish Pablo Garcia Rodrigo, number 80 and able to reach the quarter-finals of the Lotto Brussels Premier P2. On the other side of the draw are Spanish Mario Ortega (92) and José David Sanchez (57).

FIP ranking number 61 Lara Arruabarrena and number 44 Sara Ruiz Soto lead the women’s main draw where the number 2 seeds are Letizia Maria Manquillo (64) and Noemi Aguilar (65). Alicia Blanco and Italian Lorena Vano are the number 3 seed; the number 4 are another Spanish, Xenia Clascà, and another Italian, Chiara Pappacena. The main draw matches will start on Friday; round of 16 and the quarterfinals on Saturday, semifinals and finals on Sunday.
