Banco de Chile Santiago Premier Padel P1, statement from Premier Padel

Following yesterday’s announcement, the following adjustments have been made to the order of play for the Banco de Chile Santiago Premier Padel P1:

• As announced yesterday, the Qualification rounds have been delayed by one day, commencing today (Monday May 27).
• In addition, the rest of the tournament schedule will also be moved back one day, with the Finals taking place on Monday 3 June – which, like all tournaments, is held as a contingency day.

These adjustments have been made after consulting with the PPA and IPPA, and are required as a result of a regrettable delay in the installation of certain court infrastructure by the local promoter. We sincerely thank the PPA and IPPA – and all players – for their understanding and patience in adapting to this unforeseen delay from the local promoter.

Premier Padel fully supports and stands by our local promoter in Chile – partner of the tour – at this time. Delivery issues occasionally happen across all sports events; and we look forward to a successful tournament.
