FIP Rise Monaco, in Monte Carlo there is also padel

In Monte Carlo, it’s ‘racket days’. Not only the Tennis Masters 1000, the Principality is also playing the FIP Rise Monaco, a stage of the CUPRA FIP Tour with 32 pairs, including two local wild cards. The first part of the tournament will be played at the V. Indomitus Padel Club; the Grimaldi Forum will host the decisive phase.

 

There are 32 pairs at the start: leading the entry list are Belgian Clement Geens (ranking number 132) and Italian Marco Cassetta (115), followed by Emilio Sanchez Chamero (111) and Roger Aromi (142). Curiosity for the number 5 seed, the young Guillermo Collado and Daniel Santigosa, already winners of two FIP Rise this season, both in Sweden. Today the first matches of the main draw, with the final to be played on Tuesday 9.
