FIP Promotion Betsson Sweden III, Groenveld-Van der Hoek to beat

The one scheduled at the Bon Padel Arena in Gothenburg will be an unmissable padel weekend. Not only the men’s FIP Rise: in Sweden will also take place the FIP Promotion Betsson Sweden III, a women’s tournament with 12 pairs at the start and which follows those already played in the same venue in early 2024, with the victories of Touly-Ginier and Lopez-Lujan (both tournaments were FIP Rise category).

Leading the entry list will be the Dutchwomen Liza Groenveld (number 179 in the FIP ranking) and Rosalie Van Der Hoek (118), the latter coming back in Europe from the P2 Premier in Puerto Cabello. The number 2 seed is Sweden’s Linnea Björk (188) and Spain’s Carla Rodriguez Sanchez (173). Four pairs will go straight into the quarter-finals, with the remaining eight pairs competing for the remaining places.
