FIP Promotion Castellon, Leygue-Guichard lead the entry list

The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to the court this weekend with three tournaments, two in Europe and one in Chile.
A FIP Promotion will be played at La Plana Sport in Castellon, with a men’s and a women’s draw, both of 32 pairs, starting on Friday after the end of the qualifiers. There are two top 100 players in the men’s draw: Frenchman Thomas Leygue (91) is seeded number 1 paired with compatriot Dylan Guichard, and Spaniard Ricardo Martinez Sanchez (94) on the other side of the draw with another Spaniard Alejandro Prados.
Among the women, however, the number 1 seed is Cristina Carrascosa Cazorla, number 108 in the world ranking but who was Under 14 world champion in 2015 in Mexico City and Under 16 in 2017 in Malaga. Carrascosa will play Lucia Peralta Exposito, number 97 in the FIP ranking and the only top 100 player present in Castellon.
