FIP Promises Sweden II, Thomsen-Lund Danish surprise

Over the weekend, a stage of the FIP Promises circuit, reserved for young padel talents from around the world, was also played at the Bon Padel in Gothenburg, Sweden. In the Under 14 category, the Swedish William Johansson and Malte Lindh (number 1 seed) won in the final over Carl Alsen and John Marescotti (4-6 6-4 6-3), while in the Under 18 category the title went to the Danish Emil Thomsen and Anders Lund, who were not among the top two seeds but were able to overturn the predictions by beating 6-4 4-6 7-5 the Swedish Eddi Svensson and Filip Sterner.
