Santigosa and Collado get off to a great start

Spaniards Guillermo Collado and Daniel Santigosa are the first winners in Europe on the CUPRA FIP Tour 2024. Collado and Santigosa, who had ended 2023 with success in the FIP RISE in Mijas, won another tournament in the same category, the FIP RISE Betsson Sweden, played in Gothenburg (Sweden): in the final, the World Junior champion in Asuncion and the gold medallist at last year’s European Games in Krakow (number 4 seed in Goteborg) defeated 6-3 6-4 Iago Gonzalez Niño and Alberto Garcia Jimenez.

In the women’s draw, Frenchwomen Jessica Ginier Barbier and Carla Touly won in the final (6-4 6-1) over Spaniards Amanda Girdo and Carla Rodriguez Sanchez.
