The stars of world padel now know their way to glory. At Spazio Lenovo, in the heart of the city, the draw has been made for the Milan Premier Padel P1, the last event of the 2023 Premier Padel circuit, which began today with the first round of the men’s qualifiers. There will be two main draw starting on Monday: the men’s one, composed of 48 pairs (the 16 top seeds go directly to the second round), and the women’s one, a great new compared to last year, with 32 parejas at the start.

MEN

Juan Lebron and Ale Galan, the number 1 seed in the draw (but this year still in the hunt for their first victory in the Premier Padel circuit, which has been missing since Milan 2022), will face the winning pair of the match between Icardo/Moya and Cardona/Ruiz. On the other side are circuit dominators Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia (2) who, after winning in Rome, Madrid, Mendoza and Paris, will make their debut in Milan against Sanchez Chamero/Marcos or a pair from the qualifiers. For ‘Superpibes’ Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno (3), drawn at the bottom of the draw, a possible debut against Italians Flavio Abbate and Marco Cassetta, who will face a pair from the qualifiers in the first round. Finally, Fede Chingotto and ‘Paquito’ Navarro will find the Italian-Argentinians Aris Patiniotis/Facundo Dominguez or the Spaniards Huete Hernandez/Gil. The other Azzurri: Denis Perino (paired with Spaniard Jorge Ruiz) against the Melendez Amaya brothers, Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Simone Cremona against Spaniards Zapata/Guerrero, Giulio Graziotti and Riccardo Sinicropi against Lijo/Cepero.

WOMEN

Milan Premier Padel P1, which compared to last year will also see the best female players on the world stage. The number 1 players in the women’s draw, Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria, champions in Paris, will make their debut at the Allianz Cloud against compatriots Sandra Bellver and Maria Eulalia Rodriguez Abajo. Also for Marta Ortega and Gemma Triay, number 2 seed and winners in Rome, Spanish derby against Carmen Goenaga and Lucia Martinez Gomez. Delfina Brea and Bea Gonzalez, champions in Madrid, will begin the hunt for the title in Milan against Spain’s Beatriz Caldera and Portugal’s Ana Catarina Nogueira. Italians: Carolina Orsi and Spain’s Carla Mesa vs. Caparros/Fassio Goyenche, Carlotta Casali and Emily Stellato against Martinez/Ruiz Soto, wild cards Giorgia Marchetti and Chiara Pappacena will face Merino/Barrera.
