The same duel in Doha as in Kuwait?
November 22, 2023Just a few days after facing each other in the final of the FIP RISE Kuwait Steel, the challenge between José Luis Gonzalez and Antonio Luque and brothers Pedro and Alvaro Melendez Amaya moves to Qatar, the venue of another FIP RISE that promises to be very balanced and that sees the CUPRA FIP Tour return to the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex after a month since another FIP RISE.
The two Spanish pairs are the first two seeds; the third is formed by Italian-Argentinian Facundo Dominguez (winner of the previous stage in Doha, with the other Italian-Argentinian Aris Patiniotis) and Qatari Abdulaziz Saadon Alkuwari. There are 29 pairs at the start, coming from different countries: the top three seeds will enter the court from the round of 16, scheduled for Thursday.
