Spain secures double final. Sweden and Argentina are the other protagonists

After the thrilling semifinal day, Sweden takes the spotlight by overcoming the defending champions and home team, Paraguay, with a 2-1 victory. An exceptional result that further confirms the strength and growth of Swedish padel.
On the other side of the draw, Spain, one of the tournament’s favorites, advances by defeating Argentina 2-1. Therefore, the final on Saturday, November 18, will feature Sweden and Spain, scheduled not before 5.00 PM local time, at the SND Arena. Admission for the audience is free.
Paraguay and Argentina will compete for the third and fourth positions to secure the last spot on the podium. France and Italy will face each other again for the fifth and sixth positions, while Mexico and Brazil will contend for the seventh and eighth.
In the top 10, Ecuador and Portugal will engage in the match for the ninth and tenth positions. Belgium and Chile will play for the 11th and 12th spots; Egypt and Uruguay will compete for the 13th and 14th places, while the United States and the United Arab Emirates will battle for the 15th and 16th positions.
GIRLS’ TOURNAMENT
It is Spain and Argentina that reach the women’s final, also after a morning full of emotions.
Argentina faced Sweden in a match that continued until almost noon: the reigning champions in the category demonstrated once again that they are the team to beat, defeating the Europeans 3-0.
In the other semifinal, Spain encountered Italy, a match where both teams displayed a very high level of play. However, the challenge ended 3-0 in favor of the Spanish.
The decisive match to determine the new world champions will also take place on Saturday, November 18, not before 12.00 PM local time, again at the SND Arena.
In addition to the finalists, the day will see Italy and Sweden on the field for the third and fourth positions. In the match for the fifth and sixth positions, Mexico and France will compete, while Brazil and Portugal will face each other for the seventh and eighth.
Egypt and Paraguay will vie for the 9th and 10th positions; Chile and Uruguay will compete for the 11th and 12th spots, while Japan and Ecuador will battle for the 13th and 14th placements. The United States, on the other hand, concludes in the 15th position.
