Drammen Padel, 40 kilometres from the capital Oslo, will host the FIP RISE Norway Open, with the CUPRA FIP Tour also making a stop in Norway after its many events in Sweden. The men’s draw (with 32 pairs) and women’s draw (with 29 pairs, with the first three seeds going directly into the round of 16) include many players in the top 100 of the FIP ranking.

Leading the men’s entry list are Swedish Daniel Windahl (winner a few days ago in Kaunas) and Spain’s José Solano Marmolejo (champion last week in Tenerife). Number 2 seeded are Luis Hernandez Quesada (back from his triumph in Gothenburg) and Enrique Goenaga, with the other Swedish Simon Vasquez and Argentine Ignacio Piotto Albornoz (the latter winner in Puebla) number 3.

Among the women, leading the entry list are Portugal’s Patricia Maria Ribeiro and Brazil’s Manuela Schuck Silva, respectively numbers 69 and 82 in the ranking, followed by Carmen Castillon (Spanish, 65) paired with host Emilie Gullachsen.
