FIP Rise Kuwait Steel, Melendez brothers challenge Gonzalez and Luque

The Play Padel in Kuwait City hosts the FIP RISE Kuwait Steel, an indoor tournament featuring a men’s 32-pair draw and a women’s 23-pair draw. Among the men, world number 79 José Luis Gonzalez and number 65 Antonio Luque are the top seeds, with Spanish brothers Pedro and Alvaro Melendez Amaya number 2 and the pair formed by Italian-Argentinian Denis Perino (coming from the semi-finals in the FIP PLATINUM in Mexico City) and Kuwaiti Hamoud Aljenaidel as number 3 in the seeding.

Arantha Soriano Perez, number 61 in the FIP ranking, and Noor Hassan (386) lead the women’s entry list, with another top 100 player – number 70 Lorena Alonso De Lera – seeded number 2 paired with Basimah Alhowaish.
