Vasquez and Windahl hosts

The CUPRA FIP Tour comes back to the Bon Padel Arena in Gothenburg for the third time in 2023. The Swedish city hosts another FIP RISE this weekend, following those played in April (won by Simon Vasquez and Cayetano Rocafort) and June (successes of Jairo Bautista and Facundo Dominguez among the men and Amanda Girdo and Helena Wyckaert among the women). There are 32 pairs starting in the men’s draw, with Diego Gil (number 58 in the FIP ranking) and Jorge Ruiz (number 50) leading the entry list.

Simon Vasquez and Daniel Windahl, returning from an extraordinary week in Perugia that ended with a loss in the final against Barahona/Garcia, will play at home as the number 2 seed, with Teodoro Zapata and Francisco Guerrero number 3. On Friday the first round, on Saturday the round of 16 and quarter-finals, on Sunday the semifinals and final.
