The ‘padel adaptado’ enters into the APA (Asociación Padel Argentino)

A message of sport and inclusion. The APA (Asociación Padel Argentino) welcomes ‘padel adaptado’, which is played by athletes with disabilities. The initiative aims to promote the growth of this sport among people with disabilities, which has lived big development in last years in Argentina and the rest of the world.

As part of this innovation, the APA will begin to incorporate the category of padel adaptado into its circuits. In addition, the association will provide an exclusive space for this discipline in the APA Premium Centre, located in the city of Tortuguitas. There, players will have a teacher dedicated to their sporting growth.

“We are very happy to add padel adaptado to the APA – explained President Santiago Brito  –. We believe that this sport has great potential to promote the inclusion and participation of people with disabilities”. The APA’s objectives with padel adaptado are to promote the growth of the discipline in Argentina, to increase the number of its members, and to prepare Argentinean players for the World Cup, which held its first edition this year.
