The week begins with fireworks. The FIP RISE Ciudad de Cordoba will be played, contrary to the rest of the calendar, from Monday to Thursday, with two draw lists: one men’s and one women’s, of 32 pairs each. Leading the list of top seeds are Spaniard Francisco Manuel Gil and Argentine legend Miguel Lamperti, who at almost 45 years of age doesn’t want to stop putting on a show on the padel court.

On the other side of the draw, Spaniards Juan Mieres Petruf (world number 271) and Ivan Ramirez del Campo (32), the latter coming from Mexico City where he won a tournament with Gonzalo Rubio.

In the women’s, forfeits of the top seeds, Marina Martinez Lobo and Sofia Saiz Vallejo, who gave way to two qualifiers. The highest seed is therefore number 2, with Spain’s Marina Pinacho Sanchez and Brazil’s Manuela Schuck Silva. Appointment at the Club Deportivo Sierra Morena.
