Scatena/Mercadal respected predictions

Jeremy Scatena and Adria Mercadal were the big favourites at the FIP RISE Marassi Open on Egypt’s North Coast. The Frenchman and the Spaniard respected the predictions, winning a well-balanced final against Youssef Hossam and Matias Nicoletti. It ended 6-2 5-7 6-4, with Scatena and Mercadal having also been forced to stay on the court for three sets in the semifinals, before eliminating (2-6 6-0 7-6) Frenchmen Julien Seurin and Manuel Vives.
