Ramirez and Rubio to beat

At the Contrapared in Mexico City, the level is rising. From today until Sunday a FIP GOLD will be played, a category that gives 100 ranking points to the winners. Lot of European players will be on court in Mexico: Spaniards Martinez/Mercadal are the fourth seed, while the number 5 seeded are Clement Geens (Belgium) and Benjamin Tison (France). Today the first round, on Thursday the round of 16, on Friday the quarter-finals. For the four pairs that will “survive”, a double match on Saturday 19, the day of semifinals and final.
