Spanish and Japanese victories

From Frihammen to Osaka, Ferran Insa Sotillo lived two unforgettable weeks. After his success in the FIP RISE at Frihammen, the Spaniard took the first flight to Japan, where he went on to conquer another stage of the CUPRA FIP Tour. This time, Insa Sotillo shared the court with another Spanish player, Nicolai Maniucov: third seed on the scoreboard, in the final they defeated the number ones in the seeding, Sergio Icardo and Javier Lopez Garcia, with a score of 6-4 7-5.

“Great experience and new friends”, said Insa Sotillo on his social profiles. Predictions respected, however, in the women’s draw: the FIP PROMOTION played on the same days in Osaka crowned Rio Yamada and Maiko Kutsuna, who won the tournament without dropping a set and dominating the final (6-2 6-1) against Kae Tokumoto and Saki Tsukamoto.
