Saltillo, what a masterpiece by Maxi and Yoyo

First the victory in the semifinals against the number 1 seed, Oscar Matias Almada and Juan Manuel Argañaras, then one in the finals against the number 2 of the draw, Amilcar Gaston Bejarano and Luis Enrique Barrientos Garcia. The FIP RISE in Saltillo, Mexico, was the masterpiece of Maximiliano ‘Maxi’ Cejas and Matias Emiliano ‘Yoyo’ Gutierrez. The two Argentinians, seeded number 6 in the seedings, won the tournament losing only one set, in the semifinals.

In the women’s draw, success went to a Mexican pair: Camila Ramme and Ana Maria Cabreijas, 6-2 7-6 in the final against Johana Elizabet Snaider and Renata Martinez. Only a few days ago, Ana Maria had spent a few days’ holiday in Italy, where padel is a religion. Back in Mexico, she immediately lifted the trophy.
