padel returns to Sicily

One month after the FIP PROMOTION Città dei Tempi, the CUPRA FIP Tour returns to Sicily, in southern Italy, for a FIP RISE reserved both for men and women. In the men’s draw, scheduled at Pineta Padel in Agrigento, the top seeds are Miguel Gonzalez and Javier Navarro Perez, with the former having already won a tournament in Italy, the FIP RISE Eurosporting Cordenons.

Their first opponents are France’s Maxime Moreau and Joaquim Florensa Hernandez, who – like the other top seven seeds – are exempt from playing the first round. In the women’s draw, on the other hand, the Dutch Maaike Betz and Spain’s Aitana Garcia Roman lead the entry list, with two more Dutchwomen – Janine Hemmes and Avalon Segou Jonker on the other side of the draw.
