The FIP PROMISES in Rome, played at the Villa Pamphili, elected its champions. The Under 14 men’s draw was won by Gabriele Laurino and Salvatore Giovanni Manduca (7-5 6-1 in the final to Alessandro Stella and Lorenzo Sargolini); in the Under 16, the title went to Stefano Indomenico and Alessandro Pirrotta (6-1 6-4 to Riccardo Rizzato and Gian Andrea Farabbi); finally, in the Under 18, Matteo Platania and Filippo Albano lifted the trophy 7-5 6-4.

The Under 14 Women’s Round Robin, on the other hand, went to Giorgia Di Paola and Lucrezia Pierniera, who beat Sbriccoli/Bagnini and Vanni/Micheletti. The next stage of the FIP PROMISES is scheduled from 7 to 13 August in Middelkerke, Belgium, in a month that will also see the youngsters on the court in Andalusia and Bari.
