Day 5: Brea e Bea in semifinal, Sanchez Alayeto twins go through as well

Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez are the first semifinalists at the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel underway at Foro Italico. In the morning session, on the Central Court, number 3 seeded players respected the predictions and beated the pair Osoro-Sainz, number 6 of the seeding, 6-2, 7-5. Alayeto twins, Maria Pilar and Maria Jose, also reached the semifinal after a very hard and very long battle: Collombon and Iglesias Segador surrendered to the Spanish players (seeded number 5) 7-6, 6-3 after more than three hours of play. “It was a very hard and very difficult game, we knew that we could and had to suffer and we know how to do it“, were the words at the end of the match of a smiling Mapi Sanchez Alayeto.
